Privacy Policy

Rousel collects no data. It has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no servers. It makes no network requests of any kind.
What stays on your device
- Your name, if you choose to enter one, so alarms can greet you by it.
- Your alarms — times, labels, repeat days, chosen sounds.
- Audio you create — voice recordings, imported files, and the spoken greetings Rousel generates.
- World clock cities you add.
All of this is stored in the app's own container on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere, because Rousel has no ability to transmit anything. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Microphone
The microphone is used only while you are actively recording a sound, and only after you grant permission. Recordings are written to your device and used as alarm audio. They are never uploaded.
Speech and Personal Voice
Spoken greetings are generated by iOS on your device. If you have set up Personal Voice in iOS Accessibility settings, Rousel can ask permission to use it. Rousel never creates, records, or has access to the voice model itself — it only asks iOS to speak with a voice you already made.
Children
Rousel is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Any change that involved collecting data would also change the app's App Store privacy label.
